The TECO FT5 forms standard punnets or punnets with a flat TOP-SEAL upper rim, in corrugated or solid board. The flat rim lets the punnet be sealed with film, which makes it the answer for packers replacing heat-sealed plastic trays with cardboard.
Like the FT4 it has a double forming head with mechanical movements, so it can produce two models at the same time, at up to 6,000 units per hour. The difference is the TOP-SEAL rim: if the product is closed with film, choose the FT5; if it stays open, the FT4.
