The TECO AC05 works with foldable plastic crates rather than cardboard: it opens and assembles them automatically. The magazine is large enough to load a full pallet of folded crates; the machine separates them one by one, opens them, locks the walls and discharges them stacked or singly.
It handles up to 1,200 crates per hour and uses just 0.9 m³/h of compressed air. It is built entirely in stainless steel, so it suits the damp conditions of fresh-produce warehouses, and it takes a repetitive, wrist-straining manual job away from operators.
